Pendum, Coinstar ink currency transport deal

WESTMONT, Ill. - ATM maintenance and armored services provider Pendum Inc.,formerly Efmark-Bantek, signed an agreement with Coinstar Inc. to provide coin and currency transportation services for Coinstar's coin-counting machines.

The agreement will be effective only in select markets, according to a news release.

In addition to providing transportation services to Coinstar's machines, Pendum recently expanded its services to provide hardware sales and maintenance for cash-dispensing and recycling equipment used by banks and retail outlets.

The company also is providing armored and maintenance services for transaction terminals used in casinos and other gaming establishments.
