Payment Alliance International buys ATM Express Inc.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Payment Alliance International Inc.has acquired Montana-based ATM Express Inc.
ATM Express has more than 500 affiliate sales organizations, making it the largest network of ATM resellers in the United States, according to a news release issued by PAI.
The sale now gives PAI a customer base of more than 26,000 ATM locations and more than 35,000 credit and debit merchants.
"This is an exciting event for everyone involved. ATM Express has excelled in providing network and sales-support services to third parties and, in so doing, has established long and wonderful relationships with its affiliate groups," said John Leehy, president and chief executive of PAI. The ATM-portfolio acquisition marks PAI's second in less than a year. In May 2007, PAI bought ATM ISONetBank Payment Systems for $18 million.
