PAI, River City Bank forge co-branding deal

November 25, 2013

Retail ATM provider Payment Alliance International and River City Bank — both based in Louisville, Ky. — have announced a branding agreement covering ATMs in selected Rite Aid stores in the greater Louisville area.

The PAI-owned and -operated ATMs will feature the bank's trade dress. River City Bank customers will have surcharge-free access to the machines starting in late December, according to a press release from PAI.

"Being a hometown bank means providing convenient services where our customers live and shop," said David Hobbs, president of River City Bank. "Our partnership with PAI extends our reach while exemplifying our commitment to this fundamental principal."

"It's always a good thing when you can do business right here at home with another local company," says Gregory Mercer, senior vice president for PAI. "We are happy to have the opportunity to help River City Bank expand its local banking footprint at select Louisville area Rite Aid stores."

According to the release, PAI operates one of the largest ATM networks in the United States, with more than 60,000 retail ATM locations across the country. The company provides ATM services for approximately 1,500 Rite Aid locations nationwide.
