New Zealand bank launches ATM for the blind

Stuff.co.nz: Westpac bank has launched a talking ATM that gives blind and visually-impaired customers access to banking services. The ATM is one of 70 to be introduced nationwide this year as part of a $1 million investment to make banking services more accessible to customers. Westpac worked closely with the Association of Blind Citizens of New Zealand to develop the initiative.
