New York credit union installs Diebold ATMs

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Endicott, N.Y.-based Visions Federal Credit Union has installed five Diebold Inc. Opteva ATMs, which include full deposit-automation technology. The installation makes Visions FCU one of the first U.S. financial institutions to completely remove envelopes from its ATM deposits.

 

Since the deployment, Visions has seen an increase in its number of ATM transactions, according to a news release.

 

Tom Hull, vice president and chief information officer of Visions FCU, said members of the credit union were quick to adapt to the new technology.
