NCR signs State Bank of India for record ATM order

Duluth, Ga.-based NCR Corp. announced today that its recent deal with the State Bank of India for 3,800 ATMs is the largest ATM deal ever signed by NCR with a single financial institution. According to a news release from NCR, the deal also includes a seven-year ATM services contract. SBI, India's largest bank, has more than 15,000 ATMs deployed across the county, including 10,000 NCR ATMs.
Rajiv Arora, NCR's general manager of sales in India, says the deal reinforces NCR's market-leading position in in the country:
All leading banks in India continue to trust our easy-to-use self-service solutions and ATM-anagement capabilities. … This order reiterates our leadership position in the Indian ATM marketplace and reinforces our long-standing partnership with SBI.
