ORLANDO, Fla. - NCR Corp. introduced its enhanced EasyPoint 62 this month at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo.
According to a news release, the enhanced NCR EasyPoint 62 is specifically designed for smaller community banks, credit unions and retail locations. It is NCR's most feature-rich EasyPoint unit, now offering a Windows XP operating system and NCR's Aptra software suite.
It also has several unique features, such as multiple levels of air filtration. Already popular in Asian and European deployments, Farmers Bank & Trust in Great Bend, Kan., is among the first U.S. financial institutions to deploy the EasyPoint 62.
"ATM deployers know how vital it is to protect their investment by being able to easily adapt to future requirements, whether those are regulatory or customer-driven requirements," said Andy Orent, vice president of NCR's Financial Solutions Division, Americas region. "The EasyPoint 62 answers a specific need in the marketplace."
The EasyPoint 62 is able to provide access to the same applications found on NCR's Personas range of ATMs.
