September 16, 2007
EOUL, Korea - Nautilus Hyosung Inc. says it plans to start supplying ATMs to the China Postal Savings Bank, one of China's five major banks, since it's March 2007 split from China Post.
China Postal Savings Bank has some 32,000 branches.
According to a news release, the NH 5050, which will be supplied to China Postal Savings Bank, was recently awarded at the China International Exhibition on Financial Banking Technology & Equipment last year.
Nautilus Hyosung says it plans to supply approximately 3,000 machines to China this year.
"In the Chinese market, where the three major global companies such as NCR and Diebold along with the various local manufacturers hold a majority of the market share, Nautilus Hyosung was able to succeed, despite its late entry, with differentiated designs following the market trend and exceptional quality," said Cheol-Han Park, director of Nautilus Hyosung's business in China. "We have fully prepared our product lineup for the Chinese market and are proceeding to take a stronghold in the financial industry."
Nautilus Hyosung opened a subsidiary in Beijing in 1997.
