Mississippi FCU opts for ATM management by Dolphin Debit

Magnolia Federal Credit Union of Jackson, Mississippi, a 23,000-member financial institution with $139 million in assets, has outsourced management of its ATM fleet to Dolphin Debit.

After what CEO Michael Waylett described as the "worst experience [I've] had with a vendor in the last 10 years," the credit union evaluated several providers and awarded the management of its seven ATMs to Dolphin Debit, according to a press release.

Magnolia FCU also participates in a sharing arrangement with other credit unions for ATMs located at four Murphy Oil gas stations in the area. Dolphin has an exclusive arrangement with Murphy Oil in Mississippi and other markets for the placement of ATMs.

"Dolphin Debit has performed as advertised," Waylett said. "They are available 24/7 and anytime something isn't working as it should, they are very responsive and they take the initiative to get the problem solved."

Issues that used to require several calls to the credit unions previous ATM provider not takes only a single email to Dolphin Debit, Waylett said.

"That has taken a load off our employees. It helps with the stress level."
