Metavante, Postilion partner for self-service banking, billpay

April 22, 2007

ATLANTA - Postilion, a division of S1 Corp., has named Metavante Corp. a strategic provider of electronic presentment and payment services.

According to a news release, Postilion and Metavante expect to deliver a tightly integrated self-service banking solution that features expanded bill-payment capabilities and e-banking for financial institutions and their customers.

Metavante is the banking and payments subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp. Earlier this month, Marshall & Ilsley announced plans to spin Metavante off as a separate entity. "Our alliance with Metavante enables our customers to have multiple options for bill-payment services and choose the solution that is right for their business and customers," said Pierre Naudé, general manager of Postilion for the Americas. "Our relationship with Metavante will further enable us to focus on our self-service banking strategy while providing our financial-institution customers with a billpay platform scalable and flexible enough to meet their needs."
The new agreement also includes joint marketing initiatives to promote adoption and use of Metavante electronic presentment and payment products.
