Metavante names new CFO
July 1, 2007
MILWAUKEE - Metavante Corp., the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp., has named Timothy C. Oliver, 39, its senior executive vice president and chief financial officer.
According to a news release, Oliver is expected to join the company July 23. Oliver will come to Metavante from Milwaukee-based Rockwell Automation Inc., where he serves as vice president and treasurer.
"As we prepare to become a separately traded public company (that is) focused on continued growth, we will benefit from having a chief financial officer who brings large public-company experience to Metavante," said Frank Martire, Metavante's president and chief executive. "Tim's background includes management of the treasury and investor relations functions at Rockwell Automation and at Raytheon Company, where he also managed financial planning."
Oliver will replace Michael D. Hayford, Metavante's COO who has continued to serve as CFO since 2006.
Oliver holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College.
