CHESHIRE, England - Felix, developer of the Max Box multifunction ATM, has signed two new agreements with OmniCash Ltd., an independent ATM deployer.
"Our NanoCash and MiniBank ATM products will complement the Max Box-model range with the reliability a product like this deserves," said Benoit Mes, OmniCash's chief executive. "The operational agreement, backed up with the distributor agreement, puts in place a strong bonding for both companies."
According to a news release, OmniCash will service and maintain NanoCash ATMs installed by Felix in its "Maxi" Max Box ATM/kiosks. OmniCash also becomes the exclusive distributor of the NanoCash within the Max Box placed in pubs and convenience stores. The deal also calls for OmniCash and Felix to work together to find new sites for the NanoCash ATM MaxBox within those two sectors, as well as others on a non-exclusive basis, to deploy the NanoCash.
"The operational agreement ensures we have the industry's best-placed IAD (independent ATM deployer) maintaining and servicing our ATM machines," said Andy Egan, founder and CEO of Felix. "As the sole U.K. distributor of the NanoCash product, OmniCash is best-positioned to assist us deploy the first 120 NanoCash machines we have engineered into the Max Box."
The deal with OmniCash follows similar partnerships recently signed with other Felix distributors. Felix has signed comparable agreements with Consolidated Vending, RCI Europe and Utility Business Services to market, promote and help place Felix's three Max Box models - the Maxi, Midi and Mini - in the United Kingdom.
