MasterCard kick starts mobile ATM-locator service

ePaynews: MasterCard Worldwide has launched a service for cardholders that lets them use their mobile phones to locate ATM and merchant locations that accept their cards. The service is called MasterCardNearby. MasterCard also is working with issuers and merchants to develop customized versions of the service. Consumers can use the service in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, to name a few.
