LONDON - ATM network operator Link Interchange Network Ltd. is extending its partnership with software solutions provider Level Four Software.
The agreement includes deployment of Level Four's ATM Developer solution and a licensing deal for Level Four's ATM TrueTest solution, an independent and flexible desktop-based testing environment that will automate the end-to-end testing of Windows-based ATM applications. ATM TrueTest automates a previously manual testing process, significantly reducing the cost of the testing process and ensuring a superior customer experience at the ATM.
"ATM TrueTest is the world's first software to automate testing of XFS- and Windows-based ATM applications, and is therefore a targeted solution for banks responding to the industry's move to open standards," said Nigel Walsh, Level Four's chief executive. "Our solutions directly address our customers' business issues and provide proven value and fast ROI. Having LINK license ATM TrueTest and extend its use of ATM Developer emphasizes that our solutions are in demand as they empower banks to deploy a comprehensive multivendor ATM strategy."
The extension also gives Link customers access to more than 20,000 outsourced ATMs serviced and managed by Link's Harrogate, England-based Avantra. Avantra is Link's wholly owned trading company, established to develop Link's broader service by focusing on the evolving requirements of financial institutions, the public sector, retailers and independent ATM deployers.
Avantra is the leading U.K. outsourcing processor of ATM transactions. It has more than 40 percent of all ATMs connected to the Link network under direct management. Avantra also provides card-issuing services and Visa and Mastercard gateways.
