Kern Schools FCU, PAI ink branding deal

February 17, 2014

Retail ATM solutions provider Payment Alliance International and Bakersfield, Calif.-based Kern Schools Federal Credit Union have entered into a branding agreement covering 22 ATMs at Rite Aid stores in Kern County.

PAI will own and operate the ATMs, which will carry Kern Schools branding. Members of the FCU will have surcharge-free access to cash at the branded ATMs.

"Adding Rite Aid ATM placements gives Kern Schools Federal Credit Union the ability to expand their footprint without significant expense," said Gregory Mercer, SVP at PAI.

The PAI ATM network includes more than 60,000 retail locations across the country, including approximately 1,500 Rite Aid locations nationwide.

Kern Schools FCU serves more than 160,000 members from locations in and around Kern County, California.
