Itautec announces new ATM deals in Mexico, Brazil

Itautec celebrates winning bids to supply approximately 9,000 ATMs for two major Brazilian financial institutions, Banco do Brasil and Nossa Caixa.
According to Retail Banking Research, Itautec has the second-largest installed base of ATMs in Latin America and the 10th largest in the world. In Mexico, one of its primary markets of interest, Itautec has started supplying ATMs, software and IT services to Banco Wal-Mart, a project of the Wal-Mart group for providing financial services in the country. Itautec also was the first manufacturer to receive certification to provide solutions for the project, which offers financial services through ATMs located primarily in the group's establishments. Itautec operates in Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States and Venezuela. The operations outside Brazil include exports of banking and retail automation equipment as well as provision of services to several countries in the Americas, Europe and Africa.
