Illinois CU plans to sell ATM, debit business to CO-OP

Credit Union Times reports that Members United Corporate Federal Credit Union ($8.4 billion in assets) has decided to drop its ATM and debit card program, the SHARE SYSTEM, saying the service is "unsustainable over the long term."
According to the CU Times story, the Illinois-cased financial institution plans to sell the service to CO-OP Financial Services, which owns and operates the CO-OP Network. The deal is expected to close sometime during the second quarter.
