Hantle USA expects ATMIA to be headline ATM show for new products

February 9, 2010

After announcing its name and brand change earlier this month, Hantle USA, formerly Tranax Technologies Inc., says it plans to show quite a bit of new technology next week in Miami at the ATM Industry Association's annual U.S. event.

At the top of the list is the x6000 ATM/kiosk, Hantle USA's new full-feature ATM. The X6000 comes standard with a 15-inch touchscreen and runs on Windows XP. It includes a customizable sidecar, which offers additional self-service solutions. Designed originally with check cashing in mind, the sidecar also can be fitted with many peripherals, including card-dispensing, bill-payment, money-transfer, movie-ticketing and others.

"We are very excited to be combining the expertise and reliability of Hantle with Tranax's well-noted reputation for delivering the latest technology in the self-service financial arena," said Wes Dunn, Hantle USA's director of business development, in an e-mail. "We will be showing our line of U.S. check scanners, including our ‘all-in-one,' also known as the HAO-2000, which facilitates check cashing through either a computer or a Veriphone VX570."

The HAO-2000 can be attached to the c4000 ATM, which dispenses the cash.

Also on display will be the HCS-1500 scanner, Hantle USA's small, single-feed check scanner, which enables remote deposit capture and check cashing. Other technologies on display include the GCDU — a bundle-check deposit unit — and other check scanners and card printers.

On the retail ATM side, Hantle USA will show some of its existing models, including the 1700W and the TK1000 kiosk, which offers billpay, money-transfer and ticket-sales.

What's new, Dunn says, is the dual cash cassette for the 1720, which Hantle USA says to date is the lowest-cost ATM cassette for sale in the market.
