GCE aims to strengthen relationships among GRG, its partners and customers, and provides a platform for the discussion of issues and technologies, GRG said. The company showcased technologies in cash recycling, intelligent cash deposit, video teller service, cash-sorting and cash center automation.

GRGHK's Adam Lee described the FI of the future.

In a workshop session, Adam Lee, general manager of GRGHK, identified the five factors that will help determine the future success of financial institutions: efficiency; cost-effectiveness; customer engagement; optimization; and security.

Following Lee's presentation, a panel discussion covered a range of technologies, applications, and global case studies.

Industry experts also addressed future banking trends in a day of seminars that addressed a variety of topics ranging from cash-handling for small and medium-size FIs to PC tech trends to branch transformation.
