Global Axcess Corp, a provider of self-service kiosk solutions, has entered into a three-year extension with its largest ATM customer, a grocery store chain with locations in 11 Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states that operates more than 1,100 supermarkets.
In addition, Global Axcess extended the contracts of two other grocery chains for three years; all three contract extensions are with subsidiaries of the same international conglomerate, according to a company press release.
Under terms of the extended agreement, Global Axcess will continue to provide a full turnkey program for more than 850 ATMs in store locations covered under these extensions.
"We are pleased to continue our long-term relationship with these grocery chains and remain committed to providing them with superior operational excellence," Lock Ireland, interim CEO of Global Axcess, said in the release. "This agreement helps to reinforce management's confidence in our core ATM business, providing a profitable and predictable platform from which we can grow both organically and through select, accretive acquisitions."
A request from ATMmarketplace for the name of the grocery chain was not immediately answered at the time of this article's posting.
