GFG makes strategic international sales appointment

SYDNEY, Australia - Antone Homan has joined GFG Group and has been tasked with heading up the company's international sales team.
According to a news release, Homan will focus on high-growth opportunities in Asia-Pacific.
Homan joins GFG from Credit Union Services Australia, where over a three-year period in his role as head of card products Homan moved the company's card business into the black. He also helped to develop large credit-card portfolios for MasterCard Worldwide and Diners Club, and worked has with Barclays Bank and the Thomas Cook Group. "He knows what it takes to move a card business from loss to profit, or how to proactively increase card revenue, because he's done it," said GFG Group chief executive Grant Halverson. "Antone has extensive experience with different banking platforms and understands their strengths and limitations. He has chosen to throw his weight behind GFG."
