Gemalto receives seven Sesames award nominations

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Digital security solutions provider Gemalto has received seven nominations for Sesames awards, which will be presented Nov. 7-9 in Paris.
The awards are given to industry innovators that contribute to the development of next-generation products and solutions for the digital age.
Gemalto has been nominated for the following products:
- GemBorder Inlay, a new radio frequency solution that enhances the power yield between a contactless device and its associated reader.
- The IPv6 embedded solution, which enables auto-configuration and built-in security for data protection.
- PC-Link.sim, a Windows application for mobile subscribers that is intended to ease the management and sharing of multimedia content and SIM card contacts.
- GemInstant Sticker, a device similar to a contactless payment card.
- FireFly, a contactless technology intended to give a compelling visual effect.
- ChipSwipe, a pocket handheld reader used to encode the magnetic stripe with cryptographic data computed by the EMV chip before every magnetic stripe transaction.
- SIM Strong, SIM-equipped mobile technology that provides secure access to online content and services.
