COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Friendlyway Corp., provider of customer-facing self-service systems, has released its June 2006 corporate update, reporting continued progress on new business initiatives and new systems rollouts.
According to a news release, the company completed engineering work on its new e-banking kiosk. An initial rollout of 20 units is underway.
Each kiosk will provide banking services such as cash dispense, bill payment, debit-card dispense, money transfer and check cashing. The company said it has 92 confirmed locations for the kiosks in the Denver area; its first deployments will focus on Hispanic communities.
Each kiosk will replace existing ATMs. The company expects to install 100 units per month beginning as early as September, if the initial installations are successful.
Last month, Friendlyway's chief executive, Alex von Welczeck, resigned. No replacement has been named. The company's board also last month submitted a resolution to change the corporation's name to PSI Corp.
