January 9, 2007

ONTARIO, Calif. - BECU, the fourth-largest credit union in the United States, has selected Co-Op Financial Services for ATM processing and signature debit services.

According to a news release, BECU, formerly known as Boeing Employees' Credit Union, also extended its five-year relationship with Co-Op Network (operated by Co-Op Financial Services), which will continue providing surcharge-free ATM access for the credit union's 465,000 members.

BECU, based just south of Seattle, has more than $6.6 billion in assets.

In 2006, Co-Op repositioned its collection of products and services into four businesses: Co-Op Network, Co-Op ATM Processing, Co-Op Card Services and Co-Op Shared Branching. Product additions include gift cards, member rewards and check imaging.
