Fiserv bulks CheckFree staff, builds account-management team

BROOKFIELD, Wis. — CheckFreePay, now part of Fiserv Inc., has appointed four new members to its walk-in bill-payment.
According to a news release, the company hired Tony Anthony and Mark McAlexander as national account executives, and Paul Cole and Francis Falino respectively as sales director and service director.
"These four individuals bring an exceptional depth of financial and payments industry experience to CheckFreePay," said Paul Harrison, CheckFreePay senior vice president and general manager. "I am confident that this team will draw on that experience to facilitate the delivery of CheckFreePay's reliable and secure walk-in bill payment services to our 11,500 retail agent locations nationwide."
Anthony has more than 15 years of experience in sales and account management in the financial-services and payments industries, including work with MoneyGram, Western Union and First Data Corp.
McAlexander has 15 years of experience in sales, market development and account management with companies such as Comdata Corp. and Western Union Financial Services. And he most recently oversaw business-to-business sales in payroll-card solutions for Comdata Corp.
Cole has 20 years of experience in sales, account management and marketing development in the financial-services and payments industries, most recently serving as vice president of new product development for Purpose Solutions, a subsidiary of CompuCredit Corp. Previously, he led Century II / Xpress Cash Advance, and was an area vice president with Western Union Financial Services.
Falino has more than 15 years of experience in sales, service, marketing and business development with companies such as Merrill Lynch and Orlandi Valuta. Falino also co-founded and served as the president of CoDeX Group, a consulting firm dedicated to assisting money-services businesses with anti-money laundering legislation compliance. Falino was also a vice president for Orlandi Valuta, a subsidiary of Western Union Financial Services.
