Euronet closes acquisition of Ria Envia

LEAWOOD, Kan. - Euronet Worldwide Inc. has completed its acquisition of Ria Envia Inc. The deal makes Euronet the third-largest global money-transfer company, based on the amount of money transferred.
Under the terms of the purchase agreement announced on Nov. 21, Euronet acquired 100 percent of Ria's common stock for $380 million.
