Wachovia cut ATM time and expense with Windows Server 2003.

Wachovia Corp., which as a network of 5,100 ATMs in 19 states, wanted to reduce the time and money it spent managing its fleet of ATMs. It decided to add its ATM network to its Active Directory service in Windows Server 2003. After making the move, Wachovia benefitted from centrally managed security that helped it cut costs and troubleshoot remotely.
Wachovia was aided by Microsoft Corp. and NCR Corp., which each provided technology and industry expertise along the way.
