Eastern European ATMs become targets for criminals

The Moscow Times:Banks and retail locations in Russia have recently become breeding grounds for ATM thefts. Last week, a grocery store in Moscow's Tractor Factory District was hit by a group of thieves that got away with the store's ATM in broad daylight. And just a day earlier, four robbers walked into a St. Petersburg bank branch and took an ATM from the branch's foyer. The troupe walked into the branch and quickly disconnected all of the wires and loaded the ATM onto a dolly.
