E-payments switch in Nigeria signs with Paragon for ATM configuration, testing
September 2, 2009
Holly Springs, N.C.-based Paragon Application Systems has licensed its ATMulator Plus to ChamsSwitch, an electronic payment switch in Nigeria.
According to a news release from Paragon, ChamsSwitch is using ATMulator Plus to create ATM screens and states-and-test transaction sets that will be implemented for ChamsSwitch's customers.
Dapo Ajike, head of IT for ChamsSwitch, says ACI Worldwide recommended Paragon's ATMulator Plus because of its ability to interface with ACI's BASE24-eps:
ATMulator Plus has saved us a lot of time and money. We can now test transaction sets and make modifications rapidly right at our workstations, without the need to send someone down to an ATM with a test card.
Doug Daggett, director of sales for Paragon, says Nigeria's rapid growth in e-banking makes the deal with ChamsSwitch a win-win:
With the rapid growth of electronic banking in Nigeria and their migration to EMV, there is a growing need for testing solutions to prove e-payment transaction reliability and to minimize risk. We are delighted to welcome ChamsSwitch as our first customer in the growing Nigerian market.
