Discover gets endorsement from Independent Bankers Association of Texas

HOUSTON - The Independent Bankers Association of Texas has voted unanimously to endorse Discover Debit, a new signature-debit program developed jointly by Pulse EFT Association LP and Discover Network, a division of Discover Financial Services LLC.
According to a news release, IBAT will work with Pulse, a Discover Financial Services company, to promote the product to more than 510 Texas community banks. The organizations will familiarize IBAT financial institution members with the advantages of the Discover Debit program.
Under the terms of a multiyear agreement, IBAT has agreed to exclusively endorse the Discover Debit program.
FIs may elect to offer Discover Debit in addition to any other signature debit products currently available.
