Diebold takes new ATM software platform to Singapore

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Diebold Inc.'s Agilis EmPower software has been chosen as the platform for Singapore-based DBS Bank's ATM network.
According to a news release, DBS selected Diebold's EmPower for its flexible, scalable development capabilities and additional benefits for DBS banking customers.
DBS plans to bring new features and functionality to its ATM network through customizable software.
"With the largest ATM network in Singapore, we are committed to bringing out the best of Asian values in new and innovative ways for our customers," said Rachel Yap, managing director for DBS's consumer banking operations. "This means enhancing our customers' experience at the ATMs.
