Diebold preps for financial reports, expects release in a few weeks

NORTH CANTON, Ohio — DieboldInc. says it expects to releasepreliminary financial results for the full year of 2007 and the first and second quarters of2008 within the next four to six weeks.

According to a news release,Diebold iscompiling financial-restatement adjustments resulting from an internal review thatis nearing completion.Diebold also continues to review the results with its external auditors andaudit committee.

Upon completion of this process, including audit-committee review andapproval, Diebold will release preliminary financial results and hold aconference call for analysts with management.

Diebold expects to announce details for this conference call approximately one to two weeks prior to the release date.
