Enterprise des Postes et Telecommunications, Luxembourg's government-owned mail corporation, is selling stamps through its ATM network.
Enterprise des Postes, also branded as P&T Luxembourg, is selling stamps through 20 DieboldInc. Opteva ATMs that have been deployed throughout the country, said Gilbert Gazon, director of Diebold Luxembourg. The ATMs also dispense cash.
"I have no doubt that the success of the operation—already enthusiastically supported by consumers in Luxembourg—will mean swift extension into other countries throughout Europe," Gazon said.
P&T Luxembourg holds a monopoly on issuing stamps in the country. Diebold is based in North Canton, Ohio.
As a global technology leader and innovative services provider, Diebold Nixdorf delivers the solutions that enable financial institutions to improve efficiencies, protect assets and better serve consumers.
