The Czech Republic's Raiffeisenbank, one of the country's largest financial institutions, this week announced that earlier this year it signed a comprehensive 5-year master agreement for IT services from Wincor Nixdorf.
Under the agreement Wincor Nixdorf will deliver and install of 100 self-service machines, and will also provide application software and other services, including the processing of all cash and cashless transactions.
Raiffensbank is the third bank in the Czech market to outsource its self-service functions. The FI hopes to reduce its capital and operating expenses by turning over its ATM network services to another provider.
Wincor Nixdorf will be fully responsible for all operational handling of transaction processes on self-service systems with the Cashless Payment Solutions Software. Wincor will also assume responsibility for network management, includingmonitoring, cash management, database administration, campaign management, and remote and on-site service.
The company will take care of resolving all service events and faults that occur in the ATM network and will also offer support in looking for new ATM locations that would allow the bank to expand its network.
