Co-Op certifies Diebold's ImageWay for ATMs
October 15, 2007
NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Co-Op Financial Services has certified Diebold Inc.'s ImageWay ATM software for implementation with its server solution.
"Any ATM with Diebold's ImageWay software can now seamlessly integrate with Co-Op servers to capture check images at ATMs," said Stan Hollen, president and chief executive of Co-Op Financial Services. "The Diebold-Co-Op partnership joins two companies that are determined to supply cost-effective solutions that can flourish in compliance with Check 21 legislation."
Diebold software uses industry-standard message formats and technology that ensure delivery of transaction information to a Co-Op server, which accepts deposit-transaction data, including all check images from the ImageWay ATM. Every check and currency deposit is positively matched against ATM records, and ATM balancing workflows are automated to decrease the resources needed to support multiple ATMs. Following deposit reconciliation, Co-Op sends all images to the central check-processing site, maintaining a complete audit trail for clearing purposes.
