CLS coin recycler gets first certification for use with Nexus

Crane Payment Innovations, a unit of Crane Co., announced the integration of its CLS coin recycler on the Nexus Evolution product suite from Nexus Software. It represents the first certification for use for the CLS coin recycler, which is being distributed under a partnership between CPI and Vita Lansworth, according to a company release. 

The recycler, known for its high-speed coin handling capabilities and compact dimensions, can validate 10 coins per second and sort them into eight separate denominations. 

"We pay close attention to the needs of our customers and knew right away that the CLS coin recycler would address several of their core priorities, including added security and quick, customer-focused service," Kevin Eilerman, president and CEO of Nexus Software, said in the release. 

CPI is partnering with Vita Lansworth, a unit of Lansworth Enterprise Solutions, as a distributor, to resell the CLS coin recycler across the U.S. The companies have been in partnership since 2018, with Lansworth being a distributor for CPI's T-flex coin dispenser units, according to a spokesperson.
