CDS to use Mosaic Software's Postilion to drive ATMs

November 3, 2002

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- New Orleans-based Columbus Data Services (CDS) has installed Mosaic Software's Postilion software to provide ATM driving, as well as transaction switching and routing for a nationwide network of more than 1,700 ATMs.

CDS provides processing, driving, monitoring, settlement, reconciliation, cash management, vault cash services and ATM card management programs for ATM operators and financial institutions.

Noting that Postilion's open architecture permits easy implementation of new products to be delivered through ATMs, point-of-sale or other terminals and mobile devices, CDS Chief Operating Officer Ron Schuldt said, "When we made the decision to move from our older, limited processing system to a more robust, versatile, user friendly system, we looked for a state-of-the-art system that would not only meet the needs of our current business plan but could also grow with us."

Detailed reporting as well as network settlement and reconciliation will be handled by the Postilion Office component of the system. Included is direct access to reports via the Web and multi-level fee splitting capability.
