Canadian senate fights money-laundering schemes

Toronto Sun: The Canadian Senate committee recommended Oct. 4, 2006, a payday-lender registration system created to clamp down on a multi-billion-dollar money-laundering industry. The system would regulate jewelers, payday loan shops, lawyers and white-label ATM operators.
