Canadian casino loses $1.2M in alleged ATM scam

CBC News (Canada):SIGA has shut down the ATMs at the Bear Claw Casino near Carlyle and the Living Sky Casino in Swift Current after the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority suspected a company that supplies it with ATMs failed to pay back CAN $1.2 million. SIGA would not name the ATM firm. On Saturday, SIGA shut down the ATMs at both casinos after realizing the money was missing. The ATM company was supposed to reimburse SIGA through the banks. But CAN $1.2 million that should have been turned back to SIGA in February and March never made it.
