Burroughs adds same-day, on-site backup for Pro Elite scanner

Burroughs, a provider of document and payment processing image technology, cash automation solutions and maintenance services, has announced the availability of same-day, on-site service for its new SmartSource Professional Elite Scanner. The service is available to customers within 50 miles of major metropolitan service cities.

Burroughs offers five levels of ongoing maintenance to SmartSource Professional Elite clients:

1. same day on-site;
2. next day on-site;
3. advanced exchange;
4. priority depot repair; and
5. standard depot repair.

"We are excited to expand our service offerings to include on-site, same day services for the SmartSource Professional Elite," said Alan Grote, Burroughs vice president of worldwide product sales.
