Barclays launches more banking services in Middle East

(Amman, Jordan) Mena Report:Barclays Bank Plc. has launched retail-banking services in the United Arab Emirates. Barclays says it wants to reinvent retail banking in the UAE, giving customers choice, service and control over their finances. Barclays has operated in the UAE for more than 30 years, but the bank says it is expanding its reach in the region as part of a strategy to increase its exposure in emerging markets. By the end of the year, Barclays' network is expected to include two branches, three service centers and an ATM network.
