B of A surpasses 1 million mark for mobile-banking customers

Los Angeles Business: Bank of America Corp. says it has more than 1 million customers using its mobile-banking service.Mobile banking allows customers to check balances, pay bills, transfer funds, view posted and pending transactions, and locate banking centers and ATMs.The Web-based service is accessible through most mobile smart phones that have Internet access. B of A introduced the service nationwide in May 2007 as part of its suite of online-banking products.
