Australia to test mobile phone SIM cards, open the door for mobile banking

The Sydney Morning Herald: This year, a joint project between Telstra, NAB and Visa will test a system that could see your mobile phone replace your wallet.The technology uses a special mobile phone SIM card that contains information from the cards you normally store in your wallet or purse.
