Auriga inaugurates new Paris office

September 3, 2013

Auriga, a European supplier of software and solutions for multichannel banking and mobile payments, has announced the opening of its second international branch in Paris. The Bari, Italy-based company opened its first international branch in London last year.

The Paris office will be headed by Thierry Crespel, the newly appointed Francophone EMEA sales manager for Auriga. Previously, Crespel was global account director for self-service banking solutions at NCR; he worked in a similar capacity at Wincor-Nixdorf as well. He will be responsible for business development in Francophone markets and for strengthening the company's international image, said an announcement from Auriga.

According to research firm RBR, in the highly competitive multivendor solutions and multichannel banking and ATMs sector, Auriga has a 64 percent market share in Italy, 13 percent in Western Europe and 3.7 percent globally.

"Our continued commitment to invest and decision to open a new branch in Paris stems from our results and industry research showing the willingness of the international banking sector to adopt multichannel banking solutions, such as our WWS solution," said Vincenzo Fiore, CEO of Auriga. "We are very glad to have Thierry Crespel on board, who brings with him a wealth of experience, strengthening our international sales force and representing Auriga in this new venture."
