Thieves stole an ATM from the El Pollo Cris Cris restaurant in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. The suspects smashed the glass and robbed the restaurant, one with removing the ATM and the other taking the cash from the cash register, according to a report by WGNTV.

Three suspects put the ATM into a getaway car before leaving the premises. Owner Ruby Luna said this is the "second time that it has happened in less than six months."

Luna said the restaurant has reopened since the incident. It provides free meals to immigrants in the area. He plans to add bars on the windows and will not be replacing the ATM.

The investigation is ongoing.
