An additional ATM was stolen from a South Side business in Chicago. Two vehicles smashed into the building, causing extensive damage, according to a report by ABC 7 Chicago.
During the incident, one individual entered the building and removed cash from an ATM within the business before fleeing the scene. No one was injured during the incident.
This represents an ATM crime wave impacting the city, as multiple ATMs have been stolen from grocery stores, convenience stores and restaurants in Chicago. In most incidents, a group slams a car into the building and then removes the ATM.
