ATM skimming gang arrested in Greece

The Sofia (Bulgaria) Echo: Greek authorities in northern Greece have neutralized a gang of Bulgarians who authorities say was swindling money off unsuspecting customers by copying bank details. The Bulgarians were described as "extremely well organized." The men are accused of having targeted Greek citizens, tourists and Italians, in particular. In April 2008, Miami Beach police busted a ring of Bulgarian nationals who had allegedly been planting skimmers on ATMs in the area for two years, netting more than U.S. $160,000 from bank customer accounts in the space of two weeks.
