ATM Direct wins $100K in biz competition

TechJournal South:Atlanta-based ATM Direct won $100,000 from the Georgia Business Launch Competition, sponsored by The Georgia Research Alliance and the Technology Association of Georgia, for being one of the state's best high-tech start-ups. ATM Direct has developed a software-only technology that enables consumers to use a secure, PIN-based solution to make debit payments over the Internet. ATM Direct has the potential to transform the online Internet commerce landscape, according to the alliance and the association.
