ArcaTech names retail solutions director

December 6, 2007

MEBANE, N.C. — ArcaTech Systems, which supplies transaction-automation components, has hired James H. Halpin as its new retail solutions director.

As the solutions director, Jim will work directly with customers to provide solutions from ArcaTech's line of cash management systems.

According to a news release, Halpin's appointment comes as the result of a growing demand for technology to automate financial transactions in the retail industry.

Halpin began working with retail cash handling technology in 1964, and has worked to provide solutions to some of the largest retailers in the world, including Lowes, Home Depot, Target, TJX Companies and Saks 5th Avenue. Halpin's career has focused on helping retailers prevent cash losses from theft and shortages, reduce handling costs and simplify operations.
