December 4, 2007

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Alliant Credit Union, one of the 10-largest credit unions in the United States, has joined the Credit Union 24 EFT network.

According to a news release, Alliant Credit Union's more than 200,000 members will have surcharge-free access to more than 12,000 Credit Union 24-member ATMs located across the United States.

"The Credit Union 24 network presents us with an opportunity to expand our reach for our membership, and to do so within the credit union community," said David Mooney, president and chief executive Alliant Credit Union, $4.5 billion in assets. "What's more, Alliant Credit Union and Credit Union 24 are both member-owned cooperatives, so we share the same ideals of economy and control."
